Chocolate Peanut Butter Lasagna

This is a creamy flavorful dessert. Yum!! Peanut butter and chocolate go so well together. This can be a fun dessert to make with your kids.

1 8 oz softened cream cheese

3/4 c peanut butter

1/2 c powdered sugar

1/2 c heavy cream

1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

8 oz frozen whipped topping thawed

1 (14 oz) box chocolate graham crackers

1 (12 oz) bag miniature peanut butter cups

1/2 c Mini Chocolate chips

1/4 c cocktail peanuts

1/2 Jar of Hot Fudge

For the filling: In a mixing bowl, whip together both blocks of softened cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream and vanilla. I used my Kitchen Aid.

Whip until fully combined and smooth. The mixture will be thick.

Add 2/3 of the thawed whipped topping. Continue to whip until fluffy and light. The filling will be divided into three to layer the dessert.

Remove the wrappers from the peanut butter cups and chop them into little pieces. Chop the peanuts.

In a 8 x 8 inch dish start with one layer of graham crackers.

Add 1/3 of the filling mixture, sprinkle with 1/3 of the peanut butter cups, chocolate chips and peanuts.

Heat hot fudge in microwave according to the instructions on the jar. Drizzle with hot fudge.

Gently press the next layer of graham crackers into the filling and repeat, ending with the final 1/3 of the peanut butter filling.

Frost top of dessert with whipped topping, and sprinkle the top with the remaining chocolate chips, peanut butter cups and peanuts. Reheat the hot fudge if needed. Drizzle the fudge on top of the dessert.

Chill for at least 12-24 hours before serving. This allows the graham crackers to soften. I usually let it sit for 24 hours.

If you aren’t a big fan of peanuts, skip them. I don’t always use them myself. I hope you enjoy this dessert!!
