Colorful Waffles!

We do a Saturday breakfast each week. It is our way to start our weekend! Together and enjoy good food.

Sometimes it hopes to add a little twist to breakfast to make it special for my kids. Colorful waffles are a huge hit here! No one was expecting to see green, blue and red swirls in their waffles.

Take your favorite waffle batter and divide into smaller bowls. Add a few drops of food coloring and stir in well.

Spoon a few scoops of different colors into the waffle iron and then finish filling with regular waffle batter. Just a little creative with the way you spoon the colored batter in the iron.

Waffle Batter

2 c Flour

2 Tbs Sugar

1 Tbs Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

1 3/4 c Milk

6 Tbs Vegetable Oil

2 Eggs

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Cook waffles according to your waffle maker.
